I am delighted that you have found your way to the virtual “front door” of the United Methodist Children’s Home. As you come “inside,” you will learn about one of the most storied and impactful institutions in the history of Alabama and northwest Florida, having transformed the lives of thousands of hurting children since 1890. Our mission is simple: To follow the example of Christ by embracing all of God’s children…one child, one family at a time.
We accomplish this mission with a dedicated team of over 100 employees and countless other volunteers who experience their work and involvement with UMCH as a Holy Calling. With eight residential facilities and four family service-based offices all over Alabama and northwest Florida, UMCH has a far-reaching impact upon the welfare of numerous children, families, and communities.
As you peruse our website, I hope you will consider getting involved with UMCH as a volunteer, encourager, advocate, donor, or simply through a pledge to support our ministry through prayer.
