Keeping God's Children First

Our Mission is to follow the example of Christ by providing spiritual, physical, social, and educational opportunities for the children, youth, and their families whom we serve to live productive and wholesome lives.

Beginning as an orphanage in 1890, the United Methodist Children's Home has expanded its services to keep pace with the changing needs of children and their families. We presently offer the following services:

  • Group Home Care for children and adolescent mothers

  • Transitional Living Homes for young adults

  • Foster Care Support

  • Family Preservation and Support Services for families dealing with child abuse and neglect

  • Adoption Home Studies

  • Scholarships and Family Aid

The Children's Home makes a difference in the lives of children. Since 1890, we have helped thousands. Many of our alumni are now successful adults who are giving back to the communities which gave to them.

The need continues, however, and there are hundreds of other children who require our help. By supporting the United Methodist Children's Home, YOU can make a life changing difference.
