Tuscaloosa Group Home

At the Tuscaloosa Group Home, we can care for up to eight boys in our group home and another four in a transitional living home. The boys are educated in the public schools in the Tuscaloosa County School District. Through this school district, they benefit from tutoring and special programs for at-risk children.
We built the Tuscaloosa Group Home in 1996, moving from our Genesis House near the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
The Milton C. Booth Home is our transitional living program. It was built in 2007 by volunteers and others from the Southwest District.

Our partners…
Many local United Methodist Churches offer programs and services which the children participate in on a voluntary basis.
Our facilities, located in Cottondale, Alabama, are tremendously supported by the churches of the Southwest District of the North Alabama Conference.
We host interns through a partnership with the University of Alabama's School of Social Work. The University's Wesley Foundation provides tutors for our boys.
In 2007, so many United Methodist Churches in that denomination's Southwest District helped to complete construction of The Milton C. Booth Home, a new transitional living home on the site of the group home.
