Birmingham area churches are gearing up for the "Hope to Be..." Campaign benefitting our Birmingham Babies First home. Join us for the Campaign Kick-off at Genesis UMC on April 13, 2008.

Host a Banquet

Gather the flock together for a meal in honor of the children and families we serve. Join together with other churches in your area to make it a big event or just keep it in the church family. Charge a monetary admission, ask for a love offering or check with us for a list of items folks can bring to help the children and families we serve.

Special Sunday Love Offerings

A love offering during your church service is an effective way to bring together worship, mission and giving in a comfortable environment.

White Christmas - Christmas is the time for our annual fund drive. Let us help you publicize your church's Christmas offering for the Children's Home.

Christmas in July...or August...or June - Does your church have plenty to do at Christmastime? Schedule a White Christmas offering or event in the summertime. Go ahead! Deck the halls with boughs of holly. See how they do Christmas in the Caribbean. It will be a fun diversion from the heat!

Fifth Sunday Offerings - Take an offering for the programs of the Children's Home during service on an occasional fifth Sunday. You can coordinate this with a presentation by your children's or youth choir or put the youth is in charge of the service. Recycle Inkjet Cartridges

We've received some reports that www.empties4cash.com is a great way to raise money. Just collect certain types of inkjet cartridges from your church members and community and send them directly to Empties4Cash. They will send you a check and you can forward that on to us!

How We Can Help

Contact the Public Relations and Development Office for help with posters, flyers or other information you might need to publicize your event. We can also schedule a speaker to come give your group a presentation or send you a short video that informs and touches the hearts of your attendees. Whatever you do, let us know about it so we can tell your story to others looking for great fundraising ideas!
