Together Again - In June, our Alumni gathered to rekindle old friendships and make new ones at the annual Alumni Homecoming. The Association meets on the campus of the Children's Village in Selma, AL, usually the second Saturday in June. read CURRENT EVENTS
Feeling the Good with the Bad - In the book, Kids have Feelings, Too, Gary Oliver, PhD, discusses raising emotionally healthy children by cultivating an encouraging environment where children feel valued and parents are responding to a child's pleasant as well as painful emotions. read WISE WORDS

Passing the Torch - For eighteen years, Bob Pribbenow of Panama City, FL, has worked with us to coordinate Awards Day for children living in our group homes throughout Alabama and in Northwest Florida. He announced that this year's June event would be his last to oversee. read CURRENT EVENTS

Beginning Good Works - In May, with other United Methodists, Florida state agency representatives, and Children in Crisis, Inc., we broke ground on a new children's shelter in Florida. read CURRENT EVENTS. In August, at a gathering of about 80, we celebrated a new Transitional Living Home in Tuscaloosa. read CURRENT EVENTS
